JEFFERSON CITY TORNADO DAMAGE AND MISSOURI RIVER FLOODING PICTURES

Home Press Freelance Reporter Benjamin Nelson took pictures of the tornado damage from the EF-3 tornado that touched down in Jefferson City approximately 11:43 P.M. on Wednesday night (May 22nd) as well as, flooding that is occurring which has lead to the evacuation of Northern Jefferson City. The pictures of standing water was along the east side of Highway 63 Southbound including several pictures of the Jefferson City Airport submerged by flood water from the Missouri River. Tornado damage ranges from the Old State Penitentiary up to and around Dunklin Avenue.
