Roberts, age 32, of Brookfield, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
A funeral service will be Friday, August 19, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookfield with Father Jerry Kaimann officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will begin Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening; an Elks Session of Sorrow will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Christopher Owen, son of Cloyce and Kelly (Bohannon) Roberts, was born, September 6, 1983, in Chillicothe. On June 27, 2009, he married Emilee Dorsey.

Chris was a 2002 graduate of Brookfield High School and worked as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Brookfield.

He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookfield. He was also a member of the Brookfield Elks Lodge. Chris was an avid hunter and a member of the Whitetail Unlimited.

Survivors include his wife, Emilee and son, Owen of Brookfield; mother, Kelly Roberts and friend, Tim Daller of Brookfield; grandfather, Jim Cook and wife, Sheila of Chillicothe; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Kathy Dorsey of Brookfield; sisters-in-law, Laura O’Toole and husband, Sean and their son, Dempsey of Walcott, Iowa, and Megan Dorsey of St. Louis; and grandmother, Martha Claire Flynn of Brookfield.

His father, Cloyce Roberts; grandmother, Shirley Cook; grandfather, Eldon Bohannon; grandmother, Shirley Asher Cook; and grandparents, Cloyce and Rayma Roberts preceded him in death.
