Golda Diane Vandenbosch Obituary

Golda Diane Vandenbosch, 85, of Macon, MO passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Samaritan Hospital in Macon.

Golda was born on July 9, 1938 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Alva and Bessie (Vincent) Gregory. She loved her family, beloved pet (Skippy), friends and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and crafting. She was a very feisty and caring woman to everyone she met. She loved life.

Golda is survived by her four children, Dee Owens, Sue Henderson Lilly, Tina Flattery, and Tammy Moneymaker McWhorter; 15 grandchildren, Shirley, Ben Jr., John Jr., April, Melissa, Michael, Marty Jr., Taylor, Melissa, Billy, Austin, Michelle, Debbie, Jimmy, and Butch; and many great- grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Austin; and four children, Marvin, Sharon, Doug, and Pat.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
