Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, September 11 to September 22
HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Audrain County
Route D – September 11, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 975 to Route HH between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Route D – September 12, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 965 to Route M between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Route D – September 13, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 917 to CR 919 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Lincoln County
Route W – September 11 - 14, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Route B to the Pike County line between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Macon County
U.S. Route 36 (Westbound) – September 18 - 19, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from U.S. Route 63 to Long Branch Lake Road between 7:00 a.m. on Monday, September 18 and 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
U.S. Route 36 (Westbound) – September 19 - 21, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from 0.5 mile East and West of Route C and Route O at Bevier between 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19 and 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Marion County
U.S. Route 36 (Eastbound) – September 11 - 14, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from CR 486 to Business Route 36 at Monroe City between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
U.S. Route 36 (Westbound) – September 19 - 20, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route U to Route J between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
U.S. Route 36 (Eastbound) – September 21, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route U to Route E between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
U.S. Route 61/24 (Northbound) – September 18, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from CR 361 to CR 332 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
U.S. Route 61/24 (Southbound) – September 18, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Missouri Route 168 to Main Cross Street between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Monroe County
U.S. Route 36 (Eastbound) – September 11 - 14, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from CR 486 to Business Route 36 at Monroe City between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
U.S. Route 36 (Westbound) – September 19 - 20, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route U to Route J between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
U.S. Route 36 (Eastbound) – September 21, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route U to Route E between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Route C – September 11 - 14, CLOSED for bridge maintenance from start to end of bridge over U.S. Route 24 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Shelby County
U.S. Route 36 (Eastbound) – September 11 - 14, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from CR 486 to Business Route 36 at Monroe City between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Warren County
I-70 (Eastbound) – September 10 - 11, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from Mile Marker 194 to Mile Marker 209.6 between 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 10 and 7:00 a.m. Monday, September 11. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
I-70 (Eastbound) – September 11 - 12, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from Mile Marker 194 to Mile Marker 209.6 between 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 11 and 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
I-70 (Eastbound) – September 12 - 13, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from Mile Marker 194 to Mile Marker 209.6 between 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12 and 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Work with us in the work zone! Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel. With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone. Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
