Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, April 21 to May 5

HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Macon County

Missouri Route 156 – April 21 & 24, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Hilton Avenue to Harness Avenue between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route KK – April 25 & 26, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Olympic Avenue to CR 201 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Missouri Route 149 – April 25 – May 9, LANE RESTRICTION from one-half mile before and after the bridge over Painter Creek, for bridge maintenance between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday with a 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Montgomery County

Interstate 70 (Westbound) – April 26 & 27, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance on the bridge over Loutre River from mile marker 168 to mile marker 169, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Interstate 70 (Eastbound) – May 1 & 2, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance on the bridge over Loutre River from mile marker 167.4 to mile marker 168.4, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Scotland County

Route A – April 24, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Route U to CR 116 between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Shelby County

U.S. Route 36 (Westbound) – April 21 – April 28, LANE RESTRICTION for pavement patching operations from Monroe City to Clarence between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily Monday through Friday. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
