Contract Awarded to Resurface Route Y in Macon and Randolph Counties

HANNIBAL – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved a contract to resurface nearly eleven miles of Route Y in Macon and Randolph counties from U.S. Route 63, near Excello in Macon County, to Route J in Randolph County.

Capital Paving & Construction, LLC was awarded the contract after submitting the low bid of $695,000.

Work could begin as early as this summer, with the contract requiring completion by June of 2022. When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
