The Macon County Health Department announces 12 new cases of COVID-19. Currently, there are 30 active cases in the county.
New cases include two females under 19, two males under 19, two females age 30-39, one female age 40-49, one male age 50-59, one female age 50-59, one female age 60-69, one male age 60-69 and one female age 80-89.
Two new cases are from out of the county, seven are community spread and three are household contacts to previously reported positive cases.
At the time of this press release, the following reflects cases in Macon County –
30 active cases
3 hospitalized (included in the active case count)
221 released from isolation
251 total positive cases
