Staff member at Macon nursing home tests positive for COVID-19

MACON, MO — An employee at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The announcement comes as Macon County continues to see a surge of new cases.

In a social media post, Loch Haven stated: “Today we received news that one of our staff members tested positive for COVID-19. We are working closely with DHSS and Macon County Health Department. We will begin facility wide testing today. This will be our baseline testing, we will test weekly until two rounds of negitve testing are obtained. All residents will remain in isolation during this time. We encourage families that have questions to call Loch Haven Administration.”
