Leo Loyd Delaney March 29, 1932 - December 19, 2018

Leo Loyd Delaney, age 86, of Brookfield, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center, Marceline, MO.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 with Reverend David Blakely officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, MO. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of service. Leo Loyd, adopted son of Clara Fisher, was born on March 29, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri. He served his county in The United States Air Force. Leo was united in marriage to Kathryn Smith. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2001.

Leo is survived by one step-daughter, Nina Simpson, and four step grandchildren, Michael Simpson, Jeremy Simpson, Jacqueline Simpson, and Jennifer Simpson.

He was preceded in death by his adoptive mother, Clara Fisher; his wife, Kathryn; and one step daughter, Claudean Simpson.
