Paul Harvey Goodman, age 87, of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Life Care Center, Brookfield, Missouri.

Paul Harvey, son of Ray Samuel Goodman and Hazel Maurine (Bowers) Goodman, was born on September 2, 1931 in Nettleton, Missouri. Paul served his country in The United States Army from 1952-1954. He was united in marriage to Mryle Helen Allnutt on June 18, 1953 in Chillicothe, Missouri. Paul worked for Hope Haven in Chillicothe for twenty years. He very much enjoyed his work there, and thought of those he worked with as a second family.

Paul is survived by his wife, Myrle Goodman, of the home; one son, David Goodman, Utica, MO; one brother, Jim Goodman (Donna), Bella Vista, AR; two sisters, Virginia Muliner, and Thelma Simkins; two grandchildren, Wendy Engberg (Chris), Brookfield; and Rebecca Alexander (Chris Rohr), New Cambria; five great-grandchildren, Andrew and Michael Alexander, Blake and Cayden Taylor-Engberg; and Addison Engberg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Donald and Eddie; and five sisters, Diane, Katharine, Martha Bell, Carrie, and Kitty
