Ty Michael Sackrey, age 23, of St. Catharine, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Columbia University Hospital, Columbia, MO
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Park Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Brookfield, with Reverend Ron McPherson officiating. Burial will follow at Linhart Cemetery, St. Catharine. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, November 12, 2018, at Park Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Brookfield. Memorial donations have been suggested to the family, in care of Wendy Morris, and may be left at or sent to Rhodes Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, MO 64628. Ty Michael, son of Wendy and Raymond Morris, and William Sackrey, was born February 7, 1995, in Brookfield, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing video games, and more than anything, spending time with his children and family.
He is survived by his mother Wendy Morris (Raymond), St. Catharine; his father, William Sackrey, Brookfield; his children, Ryan and Reece Sackrey; his fiancé, Karley Batye, St. Catharine; his grandparents, Charles and Pamela Drummond, Brookfield; Ida Mae Sackrey, Laclede; and Sylvia Morris, St. Catharine; his siblings, Kelsy Sackrey, Arizona; Nicholas Morris (Haleigh), Columbia; Emilee Morris, St. Catharine; Gwen and Ashton Sackrey, Brookfield; and Jaida Staddie, Brookfield; three aunts, Heidi Drummond, St. Catharine; and Rachael Hayes, Brookfield; Alicia Gipson, Columbia; two uncles, Tony Morris, KCMO; and JC Sackrey, Brookfield; three cousins, Grant Sackrey, Brookfield; Dylan Sackrey, Brookfield; and Charlee Drummond, St. Catharine; and Heather Staddie, whom he thought of as a second mother.
Ty was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ginger Sackrey; his great-grandmother, Bessie Helen Frock; his grandfather, Johnny Morris; and two uncles, Mikey Scott and Jim Sackrey.
