Ronald Dale Douglas November 25, 1944 - September 14, 2018

Ronald Dale Douglas, age 73 of Bucklin, died Friday, September 14, 2018 at his home. Ronald was born in Bucklin, Missouri on November 25, 1944 to Orval L. and Lena (Powell) Douglas. He married Joyce Lea King on September 2, 1972 and she preceded him in death on July 27, 1998. He married Ruth A. Westover on November 2, 1999.

Ronald was a Veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a conductor and brakeman on the BNSF Railway retiring in 2006 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bucklin and a Bucklin resident all his life.

He is survived by his wife Ruth of the home in Bucklin, three daughters, Jennifer Erin and Rusty Coleman of Peculiar, Mitzi Christina and Jason Burris of Archie, and Salena Rae and Tony Ackerman of Harrisonville, four step children, Tonia and Daniel Walker, Monica Cruz, Trudy Walker and Jeremy and Misty Haight, three sisters, Joan McClellan of Harrisonville, Lois Rodgers of Wien, Barbara and Dave Stevens of Topeka, KS, brother Larry and Linda Douglas of Kansas City, MO, fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Joyce, brothers Charles and Donald, and sisters Loretta Taylor and Dorothy Oldham and infant sister Debbie.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Bucklin Assembly of God Church with burial in the Masonic Cemetery, Bucklin. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of services at the church. Memorials may be made to Bucklin Assembly of God Church and mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 41 Locust Bucklin, MO 64631.
