Robert "Bob" Harvey JULY 6, 1943 ~ SEPTEMBER 8, 2018 (AGE 75)

Robert “Bob” Harvey, age 75, of Kansas City, died Saturday, September 8, 2018, at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Tony Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening at the funeral home.

Robert Frank, Jr., son of Robert Frank and Vera (Dodson) Harvey, was born July 6, 1943, in Brookfield. On June 1, 1968, he married Charlotte Fields.

Bob spent 21 years working for Graff Trailer Sales in Brookfield. In 1986, his family relocated to Kansas City where he spent the next 26 years working for A&B Body Shop Inc. until his retirement in 2011.

Bob was a former member of the Brookfield Elks Club in Brookfield.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte of the home; three children, Marsha Bailey of Kansas City, Randy Carter and wife, Mary of Belton, and Tammy Browning and husband, Steve of Bucklin; six grandchildren, Brett Bailey and wife, Carrie of Parkville, Felicia Bratcher of Brookfield, Ashley Campbell and husband, Dave of Parkville, Dustin Allen and wife, Ashley of Industry, Illinois, Kaitlyn Haschemeyer and husband, Jon of Mount Sterling, Illinois, and Bridgett Browning of Springfield, Illinois; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Cecil Harvey of Macon; and many great friends at A&B Body Shop.

His parents; one grandson, Chaz Carter; two sisters, Shirley Weitzel and Nancy Linebaugh; and one half-brother, Jim Harris preceded him in death.
