Laura Elizabeth Wilt June 13, 1968 - September 06, 2018

Laura Elizabeth Wilt, age 50, of Shelbina, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018, in Quincy, Illinois.

Laura was born on June 13, 1968 in Manhattan, Kansas, the daughter of Eldon and Lucy (Lawless) Meyer. Laura was married to Dennis Wilt on March 28, 1998 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2017.

Laura graduated from the Academy of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, Kansas. She later graduated from Missouri Western State College. She was employed as a registered nurse for several years.

She is survived by her parents, Eldon and Lucy Meyer; three sisters, Theresa, Linda, and Katherine; and two brothers, Mark and Matthew. She is preceded in death by one infant brother, Gregory.

A private family funeral service will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10am at the Shelbina Cemetery in Shelbina, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Donor’s Choice.
