Anna Clair "Bobbi" Lutze June 22, 1918 - July 23, 2018

Anna Clair “Bobbi” Lutze, a resident at National Health Care Center in Joplin, MO, passed away July 23, 2018, at the age of 100 years and 30 days.

Anna was born June 22, 1918, in Harris, MO, the daughter of William Carmichael and Ella (Fulford-Bliss) Carmichael, who preceded her in death. Anna was united in marriage to Henry Allen Lutze on December 18, 1934, in Lucerne, MO, and he preceded her in death on February 20, 2008.

Bobbi was a very creative lady with her quilting, cooking, sewing, and her specialty of making pies. She was employed at Arbuckles Variety Store in Mercer, MO, before moving to Moline, IL. After moving to Moline, she set up a Day Care Center which she continued when moving to Oklahoma City, OK, Unionville, MO, and Carl Junction, MO. She especially liked the fellowship of her family, friends, and children. Anna was a Christian and a member of North Street Baptist Church in Carl Junction, MO.

Anna is survived by her four children: James and wife Kristy, Republic, MO; Jean Galloway and husband Val, St Joseph, MO; Joyce Booher and husband Dean, Carl Junction, MO; Larry and wife Linda, Edmond, OK. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren, as well as brother-in-law: Billy Lutze of Lucerne, MO.

Anna was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.

The Lutze family would like to express a special thanks to National Health Care Administration and staff for the loving care they gave to our mother, Anna.

Funeral services for Anna Lutze will be at Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 28, 2018, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Lucerne Cemetery in Lucerne, MO.
