Marcelinda Elizabeth Kozura August 26, 1965 - July 19, 2018

Marcelinda Elizabeth Kozura, 52 of Unionville MO died of natural causes on 19, July 2018, in her home.

Marcelinda Elizabeth Kozura was born in Rockford, IL, on August 26, 1965, the daughter of Daniel and Sandy (Entriken) Stewart. She grew up in Unionville MO. After graduating high school she joined the United States Airforce but was medically discharged. After leaving the Airforce Marci moved to Montgomery AL where she was a licensed paramedic. She later moved to Texas with her son Rick and married the late John R. Kozura IV. Marci was a teacher for the Ponder Independent School District. In 2014 she moved back to Unionville MO. Marcie loved animals, being one with nature, and riding too fast on her side by side.

Marci was a free spirit who will be greatly missed by her son SSgt Richard S. Kozura of the USAF (wife Meghan) her mother Sandy Brown and siblings, Rick Stewart (wife Mary), Kelley Brown (wife Darla) Teresa Robbins, Brian Brown (wife Regina), Avonna Widner, Anita Kraviec (husband Jay) and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at the community center in Mystic IA, on 28, July 2018. The family expresses appreciation for all the donations, cards, flower arrangement and prayers. For more information, please contact the Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home.
