Lawrence L. Fields May 10, 1936 - July 05, 2018

Lawrence L. Fields, age 82 of Marceline, died Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center. Lawrence was born in Marceline, Missouri on May 10, 1936 to Orvil and Daisy (Strain) Fields. He married Wanda C. Billups on January 7, 1956 at Marceline.

Lawrence was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and worked as a mechanic for the Department of Natural Resources. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and attended Church of Christ in Marceline.

He is survived by his wife Wanda of the home in Marceline, three daughters, LaWanda and Jerry Hull, Rhonda and George Teeter, all of Marceline and YeVonda Dyas and Henry of Moberly, six grandchildren, Carmen O’Dell and Jeff, Landon Teeter and Felica, Taylor Teeter and Whitney, Chandler Teeter and Sara, Gerren Dyas and Lacey and Geanya Dyas, and nine great grandchildren, Quincy and Lance, Madison and Gage, his little boy Louis, Julien, his little girl Emmersyn, Parker, Oxphinn and special friend Johnathan. He was preceded in death by his parents, son L.E. Fields, sister Sarah Tomlinson and brother Russell Dorrell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, July 9, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Sunday, July 8 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Cemetery or Linn Co Humane Society and mailed to 1720 N. Missouri Ave, Marceline, MO 64658.
