Gary Lee Bell, 55, of Clark, died Friday, July 6, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 18, 1962 in Iowa City, IA to Bennie LeRoy and Mary Jane (Duffie) Bell.

Gary worked as a maintenance laborer for Honeywell in Columbia.

Gary married Carol Sexton on July 16, 1983 in Columbia and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his children; Anthony Bell of Columbia, Joseph Bell and his wife Crystal of Prairie Home, MO and Christine Bell-Turner and her husband Jon Turner of Centralia, five grandchildren; Blake, Carter, Brady, Cole, Stella and one on the way, brothers; Kenneth Bell, Dale Bell and his wife Tess, Ronnie Bell and Gail Bell and his wife Debbie, sisters; Sharon Riley and her husband Alvin and Laura Bell, mother-in-law, Stella Sexton, sisters-in-law; Mary Sexton and Wanda Schudel and her husband Donnie, several half siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, two nephews and half siblings.

Gary enjoyed the demolition Derby (5B), racing, fishing, hunting and camping with his family and friends.

Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at the visitation, which will be, Sunday, July 8, 2018, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home. Services honoring and celebrating Gary’s life will be Monday, July 9, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the Chapel Grove Cemetery in Clark.
