Rex Fleshner, 79 of Greentop, Missouri passed away on July 4, 2018 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri.

The son of John Joseph and Clover (Andrews) Fleshner, he was born on March 27, 1939 in Mattoon, Illinois. He was a graduate of the Sullivan High School in Sullivan, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Shirley Loy and to this union two daughters were born, Patty and Debbie. He then was united in marriage to Virkita (Fiest) Elder, who had three sons, Ted, Ed and Fred Elder, and to this union one son, John Joseph was born. He later was united in marriage to Johnette (Pack) Perry, who had two sons, Steve and Mark Perry and one daughter, Marsha (Perry) Shahan.

Survivors include his two children, Debbie Colvin and husband, Doug of Auburn, Illinois and J. J. Fleshner and wife, Tonya of Downing, Missouri; five step sons; several grandchildren; great grandchildren, nieces and one brother in law.

Rex is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Janet Neal, Madonna McDonald and Roger Fleshner; his wife, Johnette Fleshner; one daughter, Patty Fleshner; one step daughter, Marsha (Perry) Shahan; one niece and one nephew.

Rex was a grain and livestock farmer in rural Missouri for several years.
