“Meeting such passionate Missouri students gives me great hope for the future of our state and is a real highlight of my job,” McCaskill said. “I’m glad I had the opportunity to speak with North Shelby High School students about the Farm Bill and other issues that are important to their community.”

McCaskill spoke about the bipartisan Farm Bill’s good prospects in the Senate, and took questions from the students on a wide range of topics.

McCaskill, a proud product of Missouri public schools, frequently meets with Missouri students as they visit Washington, D.C. to discuss their studies, the importance of getting young people involved in public service, and efforts to support Missouri students.
