Bonnie Zoe Carter January 13, 1934 - June 1, 2018

Bonnie Zoe Carter, age 84, of Brookfield, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Life Care Center of Brookfield.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Rhodes Funeral Home, with Tom Parks officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Bonnie Zoe, daughter of Kenneth William Nickell and Ophelia (Harris) Nickell, was born January 13, 1934 in Humeston, IA. On February 9, 1951 she was united in marriage to Guy Lane "Buck" Carter at the First Christian Church, Brookfield, MO. She was a long time member of South Eagle Methodist Church. Bonnie loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and singing.

She is survived by her husband Guy, of the home; her two children, Kenneth Carter, Brookfield; and Gianna Booth and her husband Russell, Branson; one brother, James Nickell and wife Betty, Hannibal; one sister-in-law, Roanne Nickell, Montana; three grandchildren, Michael Carter, Shaun Carter, and wife Leticia; and Kevin Carter, and wife Jennifer, all of Brookfield; five great-grandchildren, LaNaeya Carter, Shaquille Carter, Kendrel Carter, Raquel Carter, and Camryn Carter; two great-great grandchildren, as well as several other family members and friends.

Bonnie was preceded in death by, her parents and one brother Carl Reid Nickell
