John Daniel Buzzard July 22, 1978 - June 07, 2018

John Daniel Buzzard, age 39, of Shelbina, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 near Shelbyville, Missouri.

John was born on July 22, 1978, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Warren Ray and Brenda Marcielle (Matson) Buzzard .

He is survived by his father; grandmother, Lois Matson of Effingham, IL; three brothers, Dale Buzzard of Shelbina, MO, Dwayne Buzzard and wife Audrey of Shelbina, MO, and Brandon Buzzard of Shelbina MO; nephews, Jake, Joe, Gentry, and Ethan Buzzard; one niece, Emily Buzzard; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Rodell and Elizabeth Buzzard, and Hillard Matson; and aunt, Beth Buzzard.

John was a member to the First Christian Church. He was a graduate of South Shelby High School, the Class of 1997. In school, John played both basketball and football. At one time, John lived in Hume, Missouri, where he raised and fed cattle. He had a lifelong love of farming, hunting, fishing, raising and feeding cattle, family fish fry’s, and attending tractor pulls. John loved his family dearly, and especially cared for his nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 1pm at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, Missouri. A visitation will precede the funeral starting a 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Shelbina Cemetery in Shelbina, Missouri. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Shelbina or the American Diabetes Association.
