Charles Madison Snyder July 22, 1932 - May 05, 2018

Charles M. Snyder, age 85 of Bucklin, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Life Care Center of Brookfield. Charles was born in Brookfield, Missouri on July 22, 1932 to Harry Andrew and Luella (Madison) Snyder. He married Darla Hayes on June 7, 1959 and she survives him.

Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a middle school teacher at Ritenour School in St. Louis County. He was a member of the American Legion Post #57 of Bucklin, MFA Cooperative, and the Bucklin Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife Darla Snyder of the home in Bucklin, two daughters, Tracey Jenkins and James of Ulen, Minnesota and Angela S. Thacker and Kenneth N. of Zion Crossroads, Virginia, and two grandchildren, Deeva L. Payne and Dekker N. Payne. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harry Richard Snyder and sister Carolyn Montgomery.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Bucklin Christian Church. Burial with Military Honors in the Masonic Cemetery, Bucklin. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home in Bucklin. Memorials may be made the American Legion Post #57 and mailed to 41 Locust, Bucklin, MO 64631.
