Bessie D. Halley, 87. Of Columbia, formerly of Moberly, died Sunday, April 29, 2018 at The Neighborhoods in Columbia. She was born January 9, 1931 in Jacksonville, MO to Ralph and Retha (Oliver) Mitchell.

Bessie was married to Howard Halley for 67 years, they were married on September 24, 1950 in Moberly, MO and he survives of the home. Also surviving are her son, Kevin Halley of Columbia, two granddaughters, Jacqueline Viliocco and husband Tony and Jessica Miller and her husband Brenden, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Lowell Garrett, a daughter, Karen Halley and a sister, Deloris Gipson.

Bessie was of Christian faith, a stay- at- home mom and loved her flowers.
