Nina Claire Elliott, age 92, of Brookfield, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at Life Care Center of Brookfield

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 20, 2018, Park Baptist Church, Brookfield, with Reverend David Blakely officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Knifong Cemetery. Nina Claire, daughter of George Anderson Taylor and Nina Grace (Vincent) Taylor, was born on May 29, 1925 in Browning MO. On April 20, 1942, she was united in marriage to Harold Byron Elliott in Yuma, Arizona. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1992. Nina was part owner of Elliott Jewelry in Brookfield, Missouri for 61 years, and a life-long member of Park Baptist Church.

She is survived by her four children, Linda Laffey and husband Don, Kearney; Desiree Sappington and husband Carter, Brookfield; Dennis Elliott and wife Sherri, Brookfield; and Shawn Elliott, Linn, MO; one sister, Lorraine Lambert, Chicago, IL; eight grandchildren, Shawna Chisam, Kearney; Brett Laffey, Kearney; Melinda Cunningham, Holt; Sean Laffey, Kearney; Kristi Pierce, Kearney; Taylor Sappington, Brookfield; Drew Elliott, Brookfield; and Levi Elliott, Linn; and thirteen great-grandchildren
