Donald "Gene" Eugene Benton Jr. March 15, 1959 - April 5, 2018

Donald "Gene" Eugene Benton Jr., 59, of Macon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Moberly Regional Medical Center.

Gene was born March 15, 1959, in Moberly, Missouri to Donald Eugene Sr., and Ruby Carolyn (Price) Benton. He was a huge Green Bay Packers Fan, loved fishing for bass and crappie, and was looking forward to this fishing season.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Felicia Lou Benton and Carol Dawn Schneider.

Survivors include his wife, Edith (Pauley)Benton; daughter, Hazel Renee Benton; step-daughters: Nikki, Lisa, Samantha, and Billi Jo; brother, Ronald Wayne Benton, and wife, Michelle; sister, Kathy Lynn Benton; 13 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Cremation has been accorded by Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
