Ricky LeRoy Fields

Ricky LeRoy Fields, 59, of New Cambria, MO, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the Life Care Center in Brookfield, MO.

Rick was born on March 12, 1959, in Brookfield, the son of Roy Thurman and Elsie Ruth (Jones) Fields. He loved the outdoors and worked in agriculturally related occupations most of his life. He loved his family and his dog “Pinchy”, who was his constant companion.

Rick is survived by his mother, Elsie Ruth (Jones) Fields Sagaser of New Cambria; one son, First Sgt. Cody Fields and his wife Brenda of St. Robert, MO; two grandchildren, Linden and Aubrey Fields; two sisters, Vickie Winkler and her husband John of Moberly, MO, and Mary Helen Holland of Marceline, MO; one nephew, Johnathan Adam Winkler; three nieces, Tracey Trucke and her husband Andrew, Vonda Clevenger and her husband Darin, and Rhonda Council and her husband Robert; one aunt, June Standley and her husband Roy; and a host of cousins, great nieces and great nephews, who he loved to torment.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Fields, one brother, Roy Leon Fields, and his grandparents.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am, Friday, April 27, 2018, at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church northwest of New Cambria. Burial will be in the Cash Cemetery by the church. Visitation will be from 10-11 am, Friday morning at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
