Terri Ann Hackett, age 57 of Macon, MO passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her home, southeast of Macon.

Terri was born August 7, 1957 at Macon, the daughter of Floyd R. and Hortense E. (Pillers) Holman. She was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Hackett on July 11, 1987 at Madison, MO and he survives of the home. Other survivors include a son, Robbie Hackett and wife Brandy of Gilbert, AZ; a daughter, Chelsey Elizabeth Hackett of the home; a sister, Billie Devore and husband David of Macon; 2 brothers, Eddie Ward and wife Lisa of Middleton, NJ and Danny Ward and wife Pat of Moberly; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Vern.

Terri was a lifelong resident of the Callao & Macon area. She was a 1975 graduate of Callao High School and a 1977 graduate of Moberly Area Community College. Terri was employed at the Macon Chronicle-Herald for 19 years with 10 years being the editor. Her hobbies included antique shopping, eagle watching, gardening and spending time with her family who she dearly loved. She was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church in Macon.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Crossroads Christian Church in Macon with Brother Darrel Swafford and Brother Matt Stieger officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
