Joyce Elaine Ragan (April 19, 1948 - May 23, 2017)

Joyce Ragan, age 69, of Shelbina, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.

Joyce was born on April 19, 1948 in Olathe, KS, the daughter of Edward H. and Mildred L. Jones Kinglsey. She was united in marriage to Ernest Ragan Jr. on March 23, 1978 in Shelbina, MO. He survives.

She is survived by several brothers; sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews, including Brad Hayden of New Mexico, Doug Hayden of California, Jenny Hayden of Nevada, Missy Young of Utah, Brian George of Kansas, Jared Kingsley of Kansas, and Tony Kingsley of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by grandparents; parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Joyce enjoyed crocheting, especially for babies, and making Afghans. She loved working with people and taking care of the people. She was an outdoor woman that enjoyed mowing, gardening, and her flowers.

Graveside services will be held at 10am on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Shelbina, Missouri, with Marty Lowe and Brad Hayden officiating the service. Burial will be held in the Shelbina Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Donor’s Choice.
