Brant Smith (February 23, 1961 - May 25, 2017)

Brant Judd Smith, age 56, of Linneus, died Thursday, May 25, 2017, at his home.

A funeral service will be Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield. Burial will be in Purdin Cemetery in Purdin. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Brant Judd, son of Ralph and Phyllis (Sharp) Smith, was born February 23, 1961 in Trenton.

Brant graduated from Grundy County R-5 High School in 1980. He helped his Dad at Smith Garage in Purdin from 1980 until 2000 and helped on the family farm working with cattle and chickens. He also enjoyed Hotrod Lawn Mower racing.

Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Phyllis Smith of Linneus; one sister, Billie Harrington and husband, Brian of Bucklin; one nephew, Beau Harrington and wife, Megan and one great-niece, Patricia Harrington all of Moberly
