MARY ROSE HARRINGTON

Mary Rose Harrington, age 80, of Shelbyville, MO, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at her home in Shelbyville, with her family at her side and her shadow, pet dog named Penny.

Mary Rose was born on July 4, 1936, in Logan, New Mexico, the daughter of Cruzl Sanchez and Saraita Vigil. She was united in marriage to Roger L. Harrington on December 31, 1975 in Kankakee, IL. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1989.

Rose is survived by seven children, Corinne Montoya of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ernesto L. Montoya of Puelbo, CO, Gloria Belletete of Indianapolis, IN, Ray Groff and wife Patty of Forston, GA, Denise Boyles and husband Jack of Shelbina, MO, Michael Groff of Shelbyville, MO, and Lance Davidson of Phoenix, AZ; 12 grandchildren, Michele, Edwina, Charles, Isaiah, Daphne, Ryan, Westley, Jasmine, Troy, Tiffany, Todd, and step-grandson, Donnie; 19 great grandchildren; and two brothers and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, and several brothers and sisters.

Rose was a Catholic by faith. She enjoyed riding on motorcycles, loved the outdoors and nature with her beloved dog, Penny; and enjoyed taking rides while looking at the trees during the Fall season.

Private services will be held at a later date.
