Robert “Joe” Henderson

Robert “Joe” Henderson, 69, of Moberly passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Columbia, Missouri.

Joe was born on January 16, 1947 to Warren H. and Wynona (Lee) Henderson in Randolph County, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cowboy shows, and loved to spoil his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Glynda (Lewis) Henderson.

Survivors include daughter, Kelly Champ and husband Larry of Cairo, Missouri; son, Robert Joe Henderson II of Missouri; brothers: Warren “Ike” Henderson and wife Judy of Branson, Missouri, and John Henderson and wife Renee of Moberly, Missouri, sister, Kathyleen Turner of Moberly, Missouri; special friend, Joy Kooistra of Pella, Iowa; grandchildren: Teresa Shuerger and husband Jeremy, Brooke Brake, Erin Champ, and Sydney Champ; great-grandchildren: Zoe Marie Shuerger, Elijah Brake, and Sofia Brake; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kent Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Carpenter Street Baptist Church.
