Virginia Faye Nicolai, 83, of Macon, MO, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 09, 2016.

Virginia was born on November 27, 1932, in Polk County, MO, the daughter of Virgil Raymond and Edythe (Walker) Fitzsimmons. She was united in marriage to Primo Nicolai Jr. on June 11, 1949, in Macon. Virginia an active member of the First Baptist Church in Macon, American Legion Auxiliary, and enjoyed gardening, camping and traveling with her family, the outdoors, and especially spending time with her family.

Virginia is survived by two daughters, Jane Ann Britt and her husband Jimmie of Callao, MO, and their two children, Michelle Lee Lenzini and her husband Julio of Bevier, and Dana Marie Ford and her husband Shain of Macon, Diana Marie Sandner of Macon, and her two children, Melissa Ann Cross and her husband Matthew of Bevier, MO, Jamie Nicole Huskey and her husband Brandon of Clark, MO, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on November 8, 2011, one son-in-law, James Sandner, and two brothers.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, October 13, 2016, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens north of Macon. Visitation will be from 10-11 am, on Thursday morning at the funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church in Macon.
