Barbara Ann Anderson

Barbara Ann Anderson, age 65 of Bucklin, died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia. Barbara was born at St. Louis, Missouri on August 6, 1951 to Alfred E. and Esther A. (Streit) Russell. She married Charles Anderson on September 6, 1975 at Marceline.

Barbara was a school teacher and a member of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Marceline.

She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Anderson of the home in Bucklin, three daughters, Nickie Johnson and Aaron, Fair Grove, MO, Jennifer Anderson, Brookfield, and Laura Brownell and Nathan, Haubstadt, IN, brother James Russell and Donna, Eureka, MO, sisters, Diana Coult and Steve. St. Joseph, and Marian Jones and Randell, Carthage, IL, seven grandchildren, Colton Hammond, Danny Maggart, Kasey Maggart. Aiden Johnson, Piper Johnson, Gabriel Brownell and Charlotte Brownell, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Friday, September 16, 2016 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Marceline with burial in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, September 15 at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline with prayer service at 5:45 pm. Memorials to SEV may be mailed to 1720 N. Missouri Ave, Marceline, MO 64658.
