Cleo Munsterman, age 85, of Linneus, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.

A graveside service will be Thursday, September 1, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Linneus with Pastor Sue Lambert and Pastor Joe Smith officiating followed by a Celebration Of Life held at the Linneus Community Center. Military honors will be rendered by VFW Post #4557 of Brookfield.

Cleo Roger, son of William and Marie (Birch) Munsterman, was born March 18, 1931, in Florence. On May 7, 1954, he married Jo Anne Alexander and then on January 14, 1974, he married Sharon Rose Finney.

He had worked construction for North Missouri Construction Company and was the owner of North Missouri Bait Farm in Linneus.

Cleo was a Veteran of the US Army serving in Korea. He was also a member of the VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of the home; three sons, Rodney Munsterman and friend, Violet McClamroch, Jim Munsterman and wife, Saundra, and Jon Shaul all of Linneus; one daughter, Gina Smith and fiancé, Jeff Hass of Lexington; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one brother, Melvin Munsterman and wife, Linda and one sister LaVern Starbuck all of the State of Texas.

His parents; one son, Randy Joe Munsterman; three sisters, Viola, Phyllis, and Beverly; and three brothers, Darrell, Doug, and Bill Jr. preceded him in death.
