Lane Closures Planned for Routes in Shelby County

MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT will be doing the following work in Shelby County. Please see the dates and locations below.

U.S. Route 36 eastbound - Aug. 19-20, road will be reduced to one lane traffic at various locations from Shelbina to Monroe City while concrete work is completed between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day. There will be a 12 ft. width restriction in place while the work is completed.

U.S. Route 36 westound - Aug. 21-22, road will be reduced to one lane traffic at various locations from Shelbina to Monroe City while concrete work is completed between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day. There will be a 12 ft. width restriction in place while the work is completed.

U.S. Route 36 eastbound - Aug. 26-29, road will be reduced to one lane traffic at various locations from Missouri Route 15 to Shelby County Route V while concrete work is completed between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day. There will be a 12 ft. width restriction in place while the work is completed.

Missouri Route 15 - Aug. 27, road will be reduced to one lane traffic at Clear Creek Bridge, located south of Shelbina, while bridge work is completed between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. that day.

Please use caution if you will be traveling through these areas. Obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to eliminate distractions.
