Lloyd Gale Gladhill February 16, 1931 - July 03, 2019

Lloyd Gale Gladhill, 88, of Macon, MO, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.

Lloyd was born on February 16, 1931, in Macon County, MO, the son of Chris and Matilda (Bork) Gladhill. He was united in marriage to Doris Foster on June 26, 1954, in Atlanta, MO. Lloyd served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed going to garage sales, auctions and horse sales.

Lloyd is survived by one daughter, Connie Thompson and her husband Kenny of Macon, MO; two grandchildren, Jason Thompson and his wife Kelli of Kansas City, MO, and Janae Thompson of Overland Park, KS; two great-grandchildren, Kayla Thompson and Connor Thompson; and one brother, Delmar Gladhill of Macon, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris on May 20, 2019; two brothers, Alvin Gladhill and Howard Gladhill; and two sisters, Marie Wilson and Martha Brammer.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO, with full military honors. The family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
