Evelyn Biegel December 03, 1928 - June 25, 2019

Evelyn Biegel, 90, of Macon, MO, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Macon Healthcare Center, in Macon, MO.

Evelyn was born on December 3, 1928, in New Cambria, MO, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Grable) Smith. She was united in marriage to Robert F. Biegel. Evelyn was baptized at the Concord Christian Church south of Callao, MO. She enjoyed drawing, crocheting, gardening, and embroidery. She loved her farm animals, her potbelly pig “Sally” and her goat “Bill”. Evelyn especially loved her family and spending time with them.

Evelyn is survived by her three children, Nancy Cotharn of Macon, MO, Gary Biegel and his wife Maureen of Bevier, MO, and Betty McAfee and her husband Lloyd of Clarence, MO; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert on April 5, 2006; two sons, Terry Biegel and Larry Biegel; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Brian; and five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens north of Macon, MO with Rev. Elaine Allred and Bro. James LeDeay. Visitation will be Saturday morning, from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund.
