Carrie Payne January 11, 1934 - MAY 7, 2019

Carrie A. Payne, 85, of Moberly, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at her home. She was born January 11, 1934 in Moberly to Harry and Christine Arthur.

She married Orville Lee Payne on February 15, 1969 in Moberly and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sons; Orville Lee, David Lee and Tyrone Payne and three brothers; Harry, William and Donald.

Survivors include her children; Carlene Robinson, Pheobie Robinson both of Columbia, MO, Shirley Thomas and Johnny of Moberly, Connie Payne of San Diego, CA, Kenny and Richie Lee Payne both of Moberly, Lisa Noble of Columbia, Kathy Payne of Moberly and Robyn Robinson McDonald and her husband Lee of Columbia, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at the visitation, which will be, Saturday, May 18, 2019, 3:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Services honoring and celebrating Carrie’s life will follow at 5:00 p.m. private committal prayers and burial will be held at a later date.
