Letha Pearl Williams, 93, of Platte City, MO, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019, at the North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO.

Letha was born on November 8, 1925, in Callao, MO, the daughter of Delbert W. and Maryette (Gross) Burnam. She married the love of her life, James Franklin Williams, Jr. on October 24, 1943 in Macon, MO. Letha was a 1943 graduate of Callao High School. Franklin and Letha made their home in Bevier, MO. Letha has been a lifelong member of the Bevier Baptist Church, where she studied and spent many years teaching Sunday School. In 2004, she moved to Platte City, MO to be close to family, where she attended the First Baptist Church of Platte City. She enjoyed sewing, canning vegetables, baking and going to garage sales.

She leaves a son, Ronnie Williams and his wife Carmie of Platte City, MO; one grandson, Michael and Renee of Kearney, MO; and her great-granddaughter, Lacey Williams of Kearney, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Franklin; two brothers, Kenneth Burnam and Gilbert Burnam; and one sister, Lillian Kelley.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO with Rev. Scott Dalrymple officiating. Burial will be in the Richardsdale Cemetery in Bevier. Visitation will be 10:00 am Friday morning, until the time of service, at the funeral home. Family suggests memorials to the Bevier Baptist Church.
