Frank Grgurich (Apr 02, 1947 - Feb 07, 2019)

Frank Grgurich, 71, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at his home, with his family by his side, while under Hospice care.

The son of the late Jakie Eugene and Valeria (Jakubiak) Grgurich, he was born April 2, 1947 in Novinger, Missouri. On September 10, 1966 in Kirksville, Missouri, Frank was united in marriage to Debra Lile.

Frank is survived by his wife Debra of fifty-two years; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Melissa Grgurich, Jake Grgurich, and Troy and Linda Grgurich all of Kirksville, MO; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene and Kelley Grgurich of Kirksville, MO, Edward and Melanie Grgurich and Andy and Tammy Grgurich all of Novinger, MO; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Garry Ledford and Joanne and Mark Sheedy all of Kirksville, MO, and Carol "Lily" and Wil Reisinger of Osceola, IA; five grandchildren, Kaylee (Brooks) Jarrett, Amber Grgurich, and James Heaton all of Kansas City, MO, and Tyson Grgurich and Ryan Grgurich both of Kirksville, MO; and two great-grandchildren, Layla Jarrett and Jessa Jarrett; and two special friends of the family, Amanda White and Vanessa Cummings.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents.

Frank was a graduate from Novinger R-I High School with the Class of 1965. He proudly served his country for sixteen years with the Missouri Army National Guard. Frank worked in the family business "Jakie Grgurich and Sons Construction" for many years before starting his own trucking business. Frank enjoyed farming, truck and tractor pulls, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his boys and grandchildren.

Frank was a member of the Kirksville Moose Lodge, #1751 and a member of FORR local #19. He was also a life member of St. Rose Catholic Church of Novinger.

A Liturgical Vigil Service will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. with family receiving friends following until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Frank's wish was to be cremated and Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Novinger with Monsignor David Cox presiding.
