John Robert Grime September 6, 1942 - January 19, 2019

John Robert Grime, age 76, of Brookfield, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM at Rhodes Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 with Tom Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, Brookfield, MO. A visitation will be held at Rhodes Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 beginning at 10:00 AM with a Masonic Service beginning at 11:30 AM. John Robert, son of John Peter Grime and Francis Pauline (Williams) Grime, was born on September 6, 1942 in Brookfield, Missouri. On June 5, 1981 he was united in marriage to Marjorie Ann Wisdom in Meadville, Missouri. John was a longtime member of the Masons and Shriners Club. He loved to spend time with his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking in his spare time.

John is survived by his wife Marjorie, of the home; his four children, Genie Coursey, Alicia Graves (Rob), Christopher Sturgeon (Charlene), and Katie Oldham (Chad); nine grandchildren, Joe, Colton, Kaley, Carmen, Abby, Avery, Amroy, Arayby, and Anna; one brother, William Grime; as well as other extended family and close friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents John and Francis Grime, and one sister Colleen (Grime) Foster.
