CANDIDATES FILE FOR SHELBY COUNTY R-lV SCHOOL BOARD

(SHELBINA, MISSOURI) January 15th, 2019 was the last day for filing for the April General Municipal Election. One race that voters within the Shelby County R-lV School District will be voting on is who they want to represent them on the District's School Board. With filing closed, six candidates have successfully filed. There are two openings for three year terms, voters will vote for two out of the three; the three candidates are Jim Foster, Darin Eleazarraraz and Kevin Glover. There is one opening for a two year term in which Amy Harre was the only one who filed. Finally, there is a one opening for a one year term in which voters will choose between Steven Gerrish and Tina Dovin. The incumbents on the ballot are Foster, Harre, and Eleazarraraz. At the beginning of the 2018-2019 School Year, both Harre and Eleazarraraz were chosen to fill two vacant seats on the school board that were vacated by two resignations.
