Judy Mae Shoemaker March 30, 1944 - January 04, 2019

Judy Mae Shoemaker, 74, of Macon, MO, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Judy was born on March 30, 1944, south of New Cambria, MO, the daughter of Asa Lewis and Vera Elizabeth (Jacobs) Shoemaker. She worked for many years at Toastmasters in Macon. Judy was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church and she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Judy is survived by one sister, Barbara Shoemaker of Macon, two great nieces, Jessica Coleman and her husband Neil, and Aimee Bias, and great great nieces and great great nephews and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Sammy Shoemaker Sr., and two nephews, Gerald Shoemaker and Sammy Shoemaker Jr.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Callao, MO. Visitation will be from 10-11 am, Wednesday morning, at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Macon Senior Center.
