Donald "Don" Ellis Noyes October 01, 1924 - November 30, 2018

Donald “Don” Ellis Noyes, 94, of Macon, MO, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018, at his home.

Don was born on October 1, 1924, in Irving, IL, the son of Charles and Nellie (Taylor) Noyes. He was united in marriage to Marie June House on December 27, 1943. Don loved his children and animals, he was a gentle person, and a hard worker.

Don is survived by six children, Wayne R. Noyes of Macon, Teena I. Story of Macon, Jeanne L. Arnett and her husband Murrell of Excello, Kathy Bagby and her husband Larry of Macon, Ricky D. Noyes and his wife Joyce of Macon, and Randy L. Noyes and his wife Elfie of Columbia, MO; 23 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Noyes of Cowden, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marie; daughter-in-law, Terri Noyes; grandson, John Bagby; great-granddaughter, McKenzie Craigg; four brothers; and five sisters.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon with Bro. Jim Bolin officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening, from 4 to 6 pm, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Fairview Cemetery.
