Howard Jones February 21, 1947 - September 17, 2018

Howard Eugene Jones, age 71, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Kirksville Manor Care Center.

The son of Norman Keith and Amilee Inez (Lambert) Jones, he was born February 21, 1947 in Kirksville, Missouri. On November 6, 1965, in Adair County, he was united in marriage to Linda Lee Terrell. To this union two sons were born. On December 13, 1985 he was married to Jacquelene June Cuclich.

He is survived by his sons Timothy Curtis & Laurie Jones and Thomas Eugene Jones. Five grandchildren; Ashley Angelina Jones, Joshua Eugene Jones, Lindsey Marie Jones, Korrie Lynn Jones and Kasey Lee Jones. Two great grandchildren; Vincent Alexander Johnson and Avery Nicole MacKlin. One brother Virgil Keith & Debbie Jones; and Sherry Parrish, his longtime companion.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Norman & Inez Jones, grandparents; Virgil & Mattie Jones and George & Mattie Lambert and a daughter-in-law Jennifer June Jones.

Howard lived his entire life in Missouri, most of it in Kirksville, with 10 years in Moberly. He graduated from Kirksville Senior High in 1965.

He had a wide ranging career. He was an electrician for Missouri Power and Light for 15 years. For 10 years he was the maintenance foreman at Hollister’s and for the past 25 years he has been employed at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.. Entombment will be in Maple Hills Cemetery Mausoleum
