Delpha Walters JULY 22, 2018

Delpha D. Walters, 87, of Macon, formerly of Jacksonville, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Macon Health Care Center in Macon. She was born October 30, 1930 in Moberly to Basil and Mabel Mae (Kraft) Warren.

Delpha married Frederick L. Walters on March 24, 1951 in Moberly and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2015. Also preceding her in death were her parents, four infant children, three sisters, seven brothers, and a son-in-law.

Survivors include her children; Delvin Walters and spouse of Kansas City, MO, Freta Beall of Clarence and Joyce Massey and spouse of Conway, AR, nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild, a brother Bennie Warren of Clarksville, AR, a sister, Alice White of Cairo, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions to the donor’s choice would be appreciated.

Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at a visitation, which will be, Saturday, July 28, 2018, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Order of the Eastern Star services will be held at 12:00 p.m. services honoring and celebrating Delpha’s life will follow. Committal prayers and burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery in Madison.
