Robert “Bob” Lincoln Allison, Sr.

Bob Allison, age 81, of Shelbina, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home in Shelbina, MO.

Bob was born on July 3, 1937, the son of John and Jewell Durrett Allison in Emden, MO. On October 31, 1958, he was united in marriage to Sally Brown Allison in Shelbyville, MO. She survives.

He is survived by his two sons, Robert Allison Jr. and wife Mary Lou of Paris, MO, and Mike Allison of Lathrop, MO, six grandchildren; Kristina Dawn Davis (Mike), Becky Allison, Sarah Beth Secrease (Tom), Jacob Allison, and Katie Allison, and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters, one son, Jack Allison, one grandson, Kyle Allison, and one granddaughter, Mandy Allison.

Bob was a member of the Emden Christian Church where he was an Elder, Sunday school superintendent, member of the Shelbina Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star. He enjoyed mostly working, loved History, old cars, go out to eat and having a good steak, dancing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, Missouri, with Marty Lowe as the officiant. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home on Monday July 16, 2018. Masonic Service will be held 7:30 pm Monday night. Burial will be at the Shelbina Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors or Helping Hand of Clarence, MO.
