Glenda Faye Teeter, 74, of Macon, MO, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.

Glenda was born on October 29, 1943 in Macon, Mo. She was the daughter of Glen Guthrie and Effie (Canada) Guthrie. She was united in marriage to Davie D. Teeter on October 26, 1961. Glenda enjoyed quilting, fishing, gardening, cooking, music, and traveling. Most of Glenda’s travels were with her husband Davie while he was working on pipelines across the United States. She traveled from coast to coast and had many great adventures, Glenda especially enjoyed the relationships she formed while on these travels, making friends everywhere she went. Glenda and Davie raised a family of three while traveling for work in a small camper trailer. It was small, but she made it a home. Glenda always had a love for her animals, especially her poodles, she even liked the name Peppy so much she used it on more than one dog. Glenda worked at Walsworth Publishing in the layout department, until her retirement.

Glenda is survived by two children, Mark Teeter of Georgia, and Lisa Osborn of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Travis Teeter, Kristopher, Josey, and Sophie Osborn; ­­ six great-grandchildren, Jaivin, Valiencia, and Xayden Teeter of Colorado Springs, Co., and James (Indy), Lauren, and Jackson Jones of Houston, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Davie on October 9, 1994; and one child, Freddie Teeter.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Church of God Holiness in Macon, MO, and will be officiated by Ralph Wheeler. Burial will be in the Glaston Cemetery at Ethel. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm, Thursday evening, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Family suggests memorials to the Glaston Cemetery.
