Barbara Smith October 30, 1935 - June 18, 2018

Barbara Smith, 82, of Bevier, MO, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, at the Samaritan Hospital in Macon, MO.

Barbara was born on October 30, 1935, the daughter of Irvin and Urmin Rufener. She was united in marriage to William (Bill) Smith on April 17, 1953.

She is survived by three children, Don Smith of Ash Grove, MO, Gail Smith of rural Kirksville, MO, and Brenda Smith of Bevier, MO; five granddaughters; numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers, Wendell Rufener, Gene Rufener, and Bobby Rufener; two sisters, Lillie Lucas, and Kathy Collins.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter, Mary Kathrine; and two brothers.

Entombment will be at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery; along with her husband, Bill, at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon
